Loosing your motivation?

Motivation is not just the trigger, but the oil that keeps the entire motion of an activity going, even when it's not interesting, pleasant or fun anymore. This is why motivation is so important.

Below you will find information of how motivation works and tools of how to "keep it rollin`".

1. The Motivation Loop

Belief triggers Behaviour, which triggers Actions, wich trigger Results, which reinforce Beliefs and the process repeats all over again. This process is called a Motivation Loop.

Belief ⇒ Behaviour ⇒ Actions ⇒ Results ⇒ Beliefs etc.

2. Molkisha's Motivational Graph

There are 4 types of people, based on 2 variables: the information and the action variables.
There are 2 dimensions of
the information variable: informed and uninformed (or misinformed)

and 2 dimensions of the action variable: people that choose to ignore the information or to act.

So basically there are 4 types of people:

those that a) don't know (enough in order to act);

b) don't know but are actually doing something;

c) know but choose to ignore it;

d) know and do something about it.

3. Habits

Read "The 7 Habits of Highly Successful People", written by the late Stephen Covey.

Or check this video about "Habits" of B.J. Fogg.
